DAVID MACKAY HARRISON - CHRONOLOGY
1941
Born Lismore, Scottish/Australian parents.
Attended schools Sydney, Albury, Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby, Lismore .
1958
Graduated Lismore High School.
1958-61 Attended Hawkesbury Agricultural College. Graduated with Diploma in Agriculture.
1961-68 Joined Chamberlain Tractors as area representative and finally as district manager.
1968 Left Swan Hill. Victoria. Began painting full time and travelled extensively throughout Victoria, New.South Wales and Queensland.
1971 Returned to Lismore and held first one man exhibition at the Lismore Regional Gallery. Settled in Ballina.
1975 One man exhibition Strawberry Hill Gallery, Sydney.
1976 Mixed exhibitions Kay Lyn Galleries, Gold Coast.
1978 Open Mackay Harrison Galleries with mixed exhibition of works. Ballina, Northern New South Wales.
